Not Into Tracking? Try my Core 3 Method
If the idea of weighing every almond or scanning barcodes before every meal makes you want to scream into your protein shake — I get it.
Macro tracking can be a powerful tool. But it’s not for everyone. Some women find it freeing; others find it stressful, obsessive, or simply impractical with real life. If that’s you, I’ve got good news:
You can still make amazing progress without tracking a single gram.
Enter: The Core 3 Method.
This is the exact framework I use with women who want results — without spending their lives inside a calorie-counting app. It’s simple, doable, and designed to help you build strong, sustainable nutrition habits.
So, what are the Core 3?
Protein with Every Meal
Protein keeps you full, fuels recovery, and supports lean muscle — which is crucial for metabolism and strength as we age. Start with one solid source at every meal (think: eggs, chicken, tofu, Greek yoghurt, beans, or protein powder).Colour on Your Plate
Veggies (and fruits) bring the fibre, vitamins, and volume that help you feel satisfied. Aim for at least half your plate to be colourful. Bonus: it helps you eat more mindfully without overthinking portion sizes.Consistency, Not Perfection
This is the mindset shift. You don’t need to hit 100% every day — you just need to show up more often than not. Build meals that tick off protein + colour, most of the time. That’s enough to move the needle.
Why This Works
It removes the overwhelm. No apps, no scales, no all-or-nothing mindset.
You’re not trying to control your food — you’re learning how to build it in a way that works for you.
And over time? These habits compound into long-term change. Your energy improves, cravings reduce, body composition shifts… without micromanaging every bite.
